I had used Dils Roofing at my previous home. They did a good job, so when I moved and discovered I have some leaking issues at my new place I called them. The roofing work was quoted (after an initial visit by the Owner, Ryan Dils) at a fair price (we obtained bids from 6 roofers) and all additional work for wood replacement was clearly communicated and justified.

We had put off re-roofing our home for several years, and finally bit the bullet to beat the expected El Nino coming our way. Dils Roofing was friendly, honest and reliable and most importantly, got the job done right. Several rainstorms later, we can safely rest at ease, and no longer worry about where the next leak will pop up. Problem solved! Thanks Dils Roofing! Dils removed and replaced about 3000 s.f. of tile on our church roofs to accommodate the installation of solar. Overall we were pleased with their work and professionalism. They did pull the crew off the job for a few days due to an emergency in San Diego, but then completed the roof. They were gracious enough to remove and replace all broken tile for the entire roof at no additional cost. We would certainly recommend them.

Our experience with Dils Roofing has been extraordinary. After 3 bad experiences from 3 different companies over the years I thought that's just how all of them are but Dils has proven the opposite. The management was professional and upfront of what to expect time and cost wise and the crew that came out to reroof our 30 year old home was polite and respectful and worked diligently until the work was done. The entire experience was wonderful!! I highly recommend this company and if they have to schedule you a few months out, they are worth 100% worth the wait.!!!

Dils roofing was a pleasure to work with on the job, crew cleaned up after them selves daily -even bringing out a metal detector at the end of the day to collect any nails. Christina Alvarez was a pleasure to work with through out this whole process. I would recommend this company strongly with Christina there to help you out.

Had a great experience with Dils Roofing. The work was completed in a timely manner and the price was highly competitive. On the day of the job, workers showed up on time (a rarity these days), completed the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves (also unique these days). A couple days later, I received a follow-up phone from Hayden asking me how everything went and whether I had any questions or concerns. The whole experience was first class!!!

We needed extensive wood repair due to termite damage, the entire roof repapered, a large section of tile replaced, and to have everything coordinated with a new solar installer. I had an excellent experience with this company. The PVC roof they installed stopped the persistent leaking problem in my house. This is the second roof that Dils has done for me . This one replacing the roof done 25 plus years ago. There was nothing wrong with the existing roof. I decided to be proactive and upgrade with a new one. In both cases Dils provided outstanding expertise and workmanship. Ryan is great to work with answering any questions and making sure all goes well. Adrien and the roofing team were very professional and conscientious during the roof installation.

I just want to thank Ryan for going the extra mile to temporarily prevent the coming rain from seeping in until my roof can be fixed. And he was just doing an inspection for an estimate. Ryan Dils was great and super responsive. He inspected my roof, called me to talk through it with me in layman's terms, and had a bid for the repairs sent over the same day. He was also available each time I had a follow-up question for him. He was clear with his recommendations and I felt that he was being honest and was knowledgeable about his suggestions. Ten years ago Dills Roofing gave me a flat roof that hasn't leaked yet -- although before I lucked on to Dills Roofing no one else had been able to give me a solution. Dills is efficient, competent, friendly and professional. I totally recommend their work and their people.

I knew re-roofing my 30 year home in Carmel Valley would be an undertaking. I had rain coming inside my home this past February, so I knew I needed extreme help! Dils Roofing was recommended by a work colleague, so I made an appointment with them. I spoke with two other companies and did not get the confident impression and assurances I needed to proceed. The entire job was done in a professional manner. Contract (fair price), upfront about wood repairs recommended after the old roof was taken off, emailed those costs for approval, courteous and competent work crew (came on time, cleaned up the area daily, finished ON TIME).

I highly recommend Dils Roofing. One year ago, I had Dils replace the entire roof and all of the skylights on my large house. The entire process went great and the final product looks fantastic. We had several roof, drainage and leakage problems and they have all been fixed now. Carlos was easy to deal with and very responsive to our needs throughout the project. I got several bids before work was performed and felt like Dils was the best value especially for the quality of work that I received. Dils came highly recommended by my neighbor and I was not disappointed. I would use them again if I ever needed any roof work done.

I've been a property manager in San Diego County since 1988. We found Dils Roofing and Exteriors about 20 years ago when we took over a property that had been using Dils to repair their leaky roofs. Roofs that were improperly installed by the property's developer. They've been our go to roofer ever since. Responsive, efficient and effective. Their price is always competitive and they don't do more than is necessary to do the job right! We work with a number of contractors all over the county but we selected Dils Roofing when it came time to re-roof our home.
